Rose Quartz was part of Eros’ story as the god of desire, love and attraction; he was known as Cupid to the Romans… Eros brought the pink gemstone down from the heavens to spread love and romance around the mortal world, for it was the Love Stone itself. The romantic qualities of the pink hue to the stone were thought so powerful that they would inspire love in humankind. Rose Quartz can be smoky, cloudy, or as clear as water, it was was crafted into precious jewellery by the Assyrians as far back as 800 BC. It is believed to prevent the signs of ageing in the Egyptians, and used as a claim of ownership during Roman times. Rose Quartz stone is strongly attached to both the heart chakra and the throat chakra. These rose quartz pendulums are balanced so that they hang perfectly. To use, you need to cleanse your pendulum and connect with it (personally I carry my new ones about in my bra for a bit, but just near you or under your pillow will work). To use, you hold so your pendulum hangs, without influencing it you ask it to show you ‘yes’ and it will either swing or move in a circle. Then you ask it to show you ‘no’ and it will either swing or move in a circle (NOT the same way as for yes!). Once you have established yes and no, you ask your pendulum questions.
